Having fish in your pond can be beneficial. They will eat mosquitoe larvae and algae that grows on the sides of your pond. The fish waste is turned into plant food with the help of beneficial bacteria. Koi and goldfish can grow to sizes over 2 feet in length. They can even be trained to eat right out of your hand!
You should not have more than 1" of fish per 10 gallons of water.
